REHEARSALS START!
On Monday 29th of August 2022, the cast and creative team assembled for the very first time to begin rehearsals for our première production.
The room was full of expectation, excitement and electricity. Something thrilling was starting… “it was only an ember at first, now it’s blazing!”

A Special Presentation / December 2021
December saw us stage a Special Presentation at The Theatre Café in St Martin’s Lane where we showcased a selection of songs featuring our leading lady Katie Elin-Salt, who is set to open the show at The Greenwich Theatre in October 2022.
Alongside West End favourites Kelly Hampson, Derek Aidoo and Paul Thornley, an audience of specially invited guests enjoyed an exciting live performance led by our MD & Arranger, Dr. Matthew Malone.

NEW NERVOUS DEMOS
May 2021 saw the Nervous Creative Team heading into Qube Studios to record four songs from our dynamic new score, featuring the show’s vibrant band arrangements orchestrated by Dr Matthew Malone.
The West End talent supporting us included Laura Pitt-Pulford, Alex Young, Natasha Barnes, Sally-Ann Triplett, Louise Dearman, Arun Blair-Mangat, 11-year old India Dowers and the legendary jazz singer, Ian Shaw.

“Tell Me Darling” / November 2020
An exciting end to our year was the completion of the show’s dynamic band arrangements created by our talented MD and Arranger, Matthew Malone. By asking musicians record remotely at home we were able to produce a test recording of a short song reprise from the show – “Tell Me Darling”. The cool vocals for this recording were laid down in a socially distanced studio environment by the talented Kimmy Edwards, following her successful performance in our read / sing through as the international pop star “Kiki Kavelle”.
In the musical, this song is composed by Peggy Starr as the theme for her second husband’s first film, coincidentally entitled “Tell Me Darling”!
So take yourself back to the early 70’s and have a blast!!!
“What The Hell Is It For?” / August 2020
In late August, the supremely talented Louise Dearman performed an elegant and classy concert, streamed across the world from The Umbrella Rooms in London's West End. We were thrilled that Louise requested to première one of our songs – “What The Hell Is It For?” – resulting in this superb interpretation. Here it is for everyone to enjoy…
