One of the songs Doing The Best We Can is a postwar pub singalong. The spirit of the song seemed to perfectly fit with everyone’s response to the current crisis. So a call went out to the talented group of actors who have all helped develop our show. Through their performances, we’ve created a video to raise some cheers (!) and promote donations to The Equity Benevolent Fund: supporting members – performers, stage management, creative practitioners – with payments to help them get through this crisis. All these actors involved are themselves stuck at home – singing their hearts out from their living rooms, kitchens, shower – plus one at her temporary job as a security guard! Please sing along, raise your spirits and if you can please donate even a small amount to this very worthwhile fund, helping to ensure the entertainment industry can bounce back swiftly when times are brighter. In the meantime, let’s all continue Doing The Best We Can!
