Our two showcase presentations were rewardingly well attended and the pervading atmosphere seemed one of genuine excitement that something special was well and truly starting. Seeing the show begin to come to life was truly a joy for us all!

Emma Williams rejoined us for a tour-de-force performance as “Peggy Starr”, leading our highly talented company of Shona Lindsay (“Janet”), Tim Rogers (“Bob”), Rob Houchen (“Larry”), Sarah Ingram (“Catrin”), Christopher Dickins (“Peter”), Ian Houghton (“The Welsh Soldier”) and once again the totally charming eleven-year old, Sadie Simm playing “Young Peggy”.

Alex’ work includes War Horse (UK and Ireland Tour and National Theatre of China), Yellow Face (National Theatre Shed and Park Theatre), The Promise (Donmar Warehouse at Trafalgar Studios), Coalition and Dov and Ali (Theatre503) and Jordan (Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh).
As Resident Assistant Director at the Donmar Warehouse during 2007-08, Alex worked with, among others, Michael Grandage, Douglas Hodge and Charlotte Westenra, working on Othello, Parade, Absurdia, Betrayal, Kiss of the Spider Woman and John Gabriel Borkman.
Alex has been Assistant Director at the Royal Shakespeare Company, The Young Vic and the Almeida Theatre, working alongside Rufus Norris, Marianne Elliot and Josie Rourke, and many more; including working on productions of Every Good Boy Deserves Favour (National Theatre), King John and Much Ado About Nothing (Royal Shakespeare Company), Phaedra’s Love (The Young Vic) and Blood Wedding (Almeida Theatre)..
